Let me tell you somthing, Ive seen juiced up integras & CIVICS DONE RIGHT with no peurtorican garbage with wind-spliter's and things of that nature i've seen older MEN with these cars NO body kits or anything. Just light special cut wheels in the back, street slicks upfront. 8mm muscle rears with 373 possi lock CUSTOM running A FUL CUSTOM engine and turbo setup and this car SI AKA COUPE pushing 475 BHP for you non reading ignoramous's thats BRAKE HORSE POWER. this means this car is putting almot the same amount of horsepower that my M6 thats a BMW for you other impared dum people, and realize these cars are fast..I was next to a 100% STOCK 350z with twin turbos and some minor upgrade HE HELD with my car and did a decent job of it in low to mid and top END. due to the fact my car is limited at 155. he was able to pass..now let me tell you some of the people ive seen KIDS AND ADULTS ALIKE are running STUPID civics like this and WILL take a skyline which might i add dum ASS that theyre not 800 BHP STOCK that is a crock of S**T a twin turbo for gt doesnt even come within relms of that. so please stop i am no man to stick up for a jap burner but its simple fact the freakin guy was on it you could hear the turbo boosting up and trying..and the civics rate at which its rpm took it just blasted him..now don't you think a civic with a 300 hp ALL motor and a turbo build in would be able to make 500 hp esp with proper ecu management and tuning maps from a GREAT GREAT shop..with a civic being a cheap car and you have 13,000 to do this WHY NOT, IVE SEEN REMOTE CONTROLLED HELICOPTERS THAT HAVE COST MORE. so this is simply of non relevance saying that skyline didn't get on it. BECAUSE IT DID, just stop freakin crying because u think the car is all high and mighty because they used it in a movie and because your all ignorant and didint see a balls out fast civic in there doesnt mean ur allowed to be ignorant on terms you people do not understand...ANYTHING CAN BE MADE TO GO FAST...EVEN YOUR MOTHER AND YOUR GIRLFRIEND. a hooker only reqiures the money. very simple go check out full drag app civics and ull see those can beat a dum skyline and theyre only expensive because of importion fees. thank you have a great night.

Civic is quick but if both cars were suped up right the civic would be choking on dust. also notanidiot is right

I assure you a one stock Skyline does NOT have 800hp. With a less restricting filter a STOCK skyline could see around 300hp. I agree with notanidiot, I've done up a 96 Chevy Cavalier from the ground up. Total sleeper but puts out 510fwhp before the 150 shot. But we put lots of time and design in it. So yeah it'll eat up skylines and supras and the other fun stuff but a Chevette could potentially eat it up if built properly.

Posted by:  notanidiot  on April 21st, 2007to guest7118, you have to be joking or retarded.. if you actually knew anything about cars you'd know skyline GTRs come rated at 280hp, and might possibly make more, but not an extra 520hp. and we don't even know if that was a gtr. also that car is over 15 years old, so unless it was just rebuilt or has had some decent work done to it, it probably make quite a bit less than that. either way, civics can be built to beat just about anything, sure they might not be the greatest cars in the world being front wheel drive and all, but when it comes down to it, as long as you build it properly it doesn't matter. i've seen people make over 400hp on a civic with stock d16z6 engine that comes in the si. yes, that is a 1.6L sohc more or less piece of crap. but if you build it properly the sky is pretty much the limit as far as anything with that wonderful honda or acura badge on it goes. so in conclusion, for anyone who says civics are a piece of s**t, yeah they are, when they're stock. but any car and i mean any car out there can be built to haul ass. you just have to know what you're doing.

Posted by:  Guest89  on March 2nd, 2007your all just been pathetic...have any of you actually driven a proper skyline or civic? probably not all of you. i admit skylines are great cars but just because the cars got potential doesnt mean the driver is any good. my civic type r is a standard 2.0 (built in turbo) that wil max out at 164mph and i have actually blown away some skylines because most of them were 20 year olds thinking they or thier parents can afford it but they couldnt take the power. but had quite a few experienced drivers aswell. overall dont underestimate the civic.

Posted by:  Guest  on September 1st, 2006I don't like civics much, but that civic was was faster than that R32, look at the boost guage as soon as it peak, the wheels break loose at that speed, the GTR will have no chance. A stock GTR only has 280hp and weighs from 3200lbs to 3600lbs for the R34, with out the advantge of a 4wd power start a 240hp civic will own a stock GTR on power to weigh ration alone.
