"to fly upside down, reverse the direction of the rotor"
wrong, what they do is actually reverse the PITCH of the rotor blades, i know because i have a RC stunt chopper, the one in that vid is prolly a $700usd ish one, and about 2 feet long, however my one is ridiculously expensive i dont want to remember, and it is 4.5 feet long and has a 5.5 foot rotor diameter, its big, electric, and damn powerful and much higher performance then those ones.
helicopters fly on their blades pitch rather then throttle, the rpm of the rotos normally stays roughly the same the whole flight, and pitch can be added or decreased, adn in mose cases, reversed, so the thrust has an entire change in direction, as is the case ni the video.

onion,
to fly upside down you have to reverse the pitch of the main blades...the main blades have positive and negative pitsc, positive for normal flight and negative for inverted flight.

just to let you know there have been quite a few people killed as well as animals. a friend of mine took out a pitbull(cut its head in half) because the dog ran into the heli after it just came down from a flight and blades where still at full speed. and there not crap, those go for $600 or so...
