Posted by:  Guest  on February 6th, 2006Yes it was set-up, but he was jumping with 3 canopies... the 1st he set on fire, the 2nd he used after he went back into freefall, the 3rd in case the 2nd failed.
Any jump where you intend to "cut away" your main canopy, you MUST carry 2 more.
Oh, and thanks for the generalisation of British people - you've done a great job of proving your own level of intelligence :-)
