The only gun that can take more heat is HK21E. (I have witnessed 1000 rd. continous fire test). Other modern machinegun say the PKM can fire 400 rd in one burst - anyway, that what the manual permits. But after a number of tests like this the PKM bore will be annealed to 22RC from original 27 - 32RC (the chamber is 37RC)
