Tazing for during traffic violation is ridiculous, it officer is unprofessional

Never fails to amaze me how stupid people are, she broke the law, refused to comply with a police officer and all of a sudden shes a victim....... she got exactly what she deserved

I hear of all the abuse of only but a few, however when someone clearly is trying to do the right thing he is presented with this. An individual who was breaking the law, had a broken tail light and suspended license. Why would someone do this? Who cares, he did his job he was hired to do, and that was to enforece the law. I bet she will try and get a lawyer and say this was a "race" thing. Only when someone does not have a leg to stand on do I always hear the "race" card being used. How many times did he ask/tell her to get out of the car and put the phone down. Try this at your job and you would be fired way before this. He gave her instructions and she failed to follow them. Everyone always says, "those pigs are all corrupt". Here is a clear example of what happens when you fail to follow instructions of the law. Try this in the military and see what happens.

Oh, by the way... I am sick and tired of hearing people spout police brutality and racism and all the other crap they spout when they get caught screwing up. I am a police officer, and she got what she asked for. He was a lot nicer about it than I am. My one question for people is, why do you feel the need to spout legal statements and tell us how to do our jobs when you are confronted with the police? Don't you know that it is our JOB to KNOW the law? Don't tell me what your opinion of the law is when I stop you... I get paid to know the law and to know what my job is. You would stand a better chance getting a warning or released from the jail on your own recognizance if you would actually say "Yeah, I f'ed up..." instead of telling us how to do our jobs. It just makes you look like the retard you are when you do that, and the officers and judges hate to hear all that. Gives you an uphill battle from the word go...

Why are the dumb ones the ones who drive while their license is suspended? If my license was suspended, I wouldn't drive in excess of the posted speed limit, have a dead state inspection sticker, nor would I drive with a broken windshield... Oh, and most definately, I would not swing at a cop... lucky she didn't get shot! I'd have tazed her about 6 more times that Ofc McNevin did, though...

What can I say....the police did this one by the numbers! They had to regain control of the situation and escelated approperately. Had this been 10 or 15 years ago, this would have involved mace and then perhaps escelated to a baton. Control was obtained in a matter of minutes without personal injury to either the suspect nor the officer. EXCELLENT!

The said this was she truely beleved she did nothing wrong. They did the right thing. They asked her, told her, then warned her. And no one accidently drive with a suspened. You brake the law don't be shocked when you get in trouble. Bad enought thoes men and women get hit by "accident" while doing stops on the high way. Like my grand pa used to say. You don't fu*k with the people who are incharge. She's lucky she didn't get nailed when she went for her phone, far as they know she could have been some crazy crackhead going for a gun.
