neat video. I saw a photo of a PC case-mod once that had a clear window displaying the hard disk's inside just like this.

The hard disk demonstrated would have had a set sequence of motions ( read sequances ) already on it's board, no need for data cables.

there would be no point putitng data cables in (IDE/SATA).The discs need to be kept in clen anti-static air, aking them out like that kills the discs and makes the whole unit usless, dont try it at home kids!
