Mere logic and physics break most 'illusions'. There must be something supporting him through the leg that stays planted. I would be impressed if he would lift both legs. I don't believe there is anything sticking out of his jacket because there is a part in the clip that you can see the jacked clearing the ground. Even if there would be something transparant sticking out you would definately be able to see it.
