Oh it's a sambo competition... no wonder...
It's Russian wrestling... similar to Judo. They cannot hit on each other's face, but they do gain points if they do a no-contact punch on the face of the opponent after he has been taken down.

You have to know some wrestling techniques in order to understand what they're doing. If you cannot understand the moves they use, try pay attention to the limbs that they're locking. If you're standing in the circle, I'm sure you'll get your joints broken in no time...

I'm a martial artist myself. This is real... They're doing take downs on each other, and then joint locks. They're both pretty good. What I don't understand is that why there're not punching on each other's face. Perhaps it's prohibited. Maybe this is a competition which you have to get hold of your opponent and force him to tap out.
