Well, the conceal and carry laws in the state I live in here in the US are pretty relaxed. I recieved mine last summer and carry my 9mm around on a hip holster for hiking or when i'm on the motorcycle. But knowing how to use your hands to defend yourself affords one more level of protection.

English please.
So let me see if it is clear what you are saying. Walking around with a gun makes you a tough guy. But taking someone hand to fist makes you insecure about your manhood?! That makes no sense at all. First of all, in which country can you just walk around with big russian guns and not get any problems. (Not 3rd world countries please.) Even if you had a huge gun, 1: It can't be visable because you would never get mugged in the first place. 2: You still must be trained for close combat. either you are western fast draw cowboy or you will have to be able to get the gun away from him first.

or u cud jus walk round with a 44. calibre revolver or sum random russian gun which is apparently powerfuler and blow a 6 inch hole in the guy up to u now i believe ijam and that but its up to u run around with a tight vest in obviously insecure about ur package or with a gun n scare the s**t out of the mugger

Yes EA thank you for correcting me. I said there is only one form of martial arts that uses the others energy and strength against him but ofcourse that isn't correct. I was thinking of one particular form but I can't remember the name.. It's one where they were a white 'shirt' and black pants. The pants kinda look like a skirt (no not dissing you martial artists). I'm talking about this form because you see the energy being used very clearly. Anyway, I'm sure you people have seen the following; Boxers who swing so hard that they tumble them selves over (usually when the miss ). That's the energy what EA and myself are talking about. Maybe that will draw you a better picture.

There are many forms of martial arts that use opposing force which is what ijam is talking about it is not so much strength as it is using your opponents energy against him. all these techniques work and are multi situational the trick is to continue to practice until they are second nature because when you are in the heat of the moment you have to be conditioned to perform, knowing and understanding the technique is not enough it has to be able to fire in an instance without second thought

Takes years of practice to do things like this, I been training for only 4 years, got Black Belt in Jujitsu, orange in Judo and spend time practising Escrima which is Knife fighting techniques. You'd be surprised at what can be achieved even by the smallest of people!!
