Posted by:  chel3SEY  on February 20th, 2007This can hardly be called a "fight". It is a straight-forward assault, and a particularly brutal one at that. Two men approached the surfer, exchanged words, and then one attacked him and met almost no resistance. The surfer was quickly overwhelmed and the his attacker SAT on him while pulverizing his face with a series of direct blows that was TOTALLY excessive and unjustiable. I can only hope that the surfer reported the assualt to the police and that the police pressed charges. If so, any reasonable jury in the land would have convicted. I feel shame for the callous idiots on the beach who not only refused to intervene to stop this assault, but so evidently enjoyed it. That is very depressing.
