'boy' gary as he was known was talking about his collection of cartoons. he referenced 'baba looey' from quick draw mcgraw, aka 'baba boy' and then adamantly corrected someone else on the pronunciation. they kept calling him baba booey, then when he said they'll be over calling him that by tomorrow, they decided to call him it for the rest of the show. that was probably 15 years ago, they still call him baba booey - and many variations, like mama monkey (cause he looks like one), fafa flunkie (cause he's sometimes a little slow)...
